Andrew "Jack" Henson, 79, Alton, died at 6:55 p.m. Saturday (May 23, 1981) in Alton.  He was a former Wayne County resident.

He was born in Wayne County, and married to the former Mae Davis, who preceded him in death in 1974.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Richardson Chapel in Wayne City with the Rev. Oakley Miller officiating.  Burial will follow at the Pin Oaks Cemetery, north of Wayne City.

Mr Henson was a retired glass factory worker.

The family will receive friends after 5:30 p.m, today at the funeral home.

He is survived by one daughter, Marlous Fitzgerald, Alton, one grand daughter, Lisa Diane Fitz, Alton; two brothers, Chris Henson, Bethalto, Harold Henson, Alton; and one sister, Mrs. Donald (Mary) Warren, Sims.
