HAROLD O. HENSON, 82, DIES
WAS A NATIVE OF SIMS

Harold O. Henson 82, of Alton died at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, 1988 at his home following a lengthy illness.

He was the brother of Mrs. Donald (Mary) Warren of Fairfield.

Services Held

Funeral services were held Thursday, August 18 at the Gent Funeral Home in Alton with Rev. H. Todd Taylor officiating. Burial followed in the Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.

Mr Henson was born in 1906 in Sims, the son of Squire and Della(Miller) Henson. He married the former Marguerite Windell on July 22, 1926 in Albion and she survives.

In 1970, he retired from the forming department of Owens_Illinois Glass Company in Alton.

The Survivors

Among survivors are his wife, Marguerite of Alton; one daughter Darla Ray of Godfrey; two sons, Eldon of East Alton; and Gerald of Tulsa, OK; one brother, Chris Henson of Meadowbrook; one sister, Mrs Donald (Mary) Warren of Fairfield; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Memorials may be made to the Alton First Southern Baptist Church.
