MRS. FROMAN SMITH
Mrs. Froman Smith, 72, of 812
S. Second St., daughter of the late
Judge
James
A. Creighton, died at 9 a. m. yesterday at St. John's
hospital
following an
illness of five weeks.
Mrs. Smith attended St. Agatha Episcopal school and was a communicant
of St.
Paul's cathedral. She was an honorary member of the Anti-Rust
Society.
She is survived by two sisters,
Mrs.
J. Wallace Paige and
Mrs.
William St.
John Wines, both of city; nephew,
William Creighton Wines, Chicago,
and niece,
Mrs. George W. Vetter,
Wilmette; two grandnieces and one grandnephew.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a. m. Monday at St. Paul's
cathedral.
Rev. David K. Montgomerg will officiate and burial will be in Oak Ridge
cemetery. Remains will be removed at 4 p.m. today from the Thomas
C. Smith Sons
funeral home to the residence where friends may call.

Emma Jane,
Ada Belle and
Eva Amelia, dau of
James Asbury
Creighton and
Mary Catherine Newman.
