JOHN BULLARD,
OF JOHNSONVILLE, DIES

Lifelong Northern Wayne Farmer
Passed Away Monday AfterNoon At His Home.

John Bullard, 73, a Johnsonville farmer, died at his home near that community Monday afternoon, following an acute illness.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the Johnsonville Methodist church, with Rev. Jesse Miller officiating. Interment was in the Bailey cemetery. The Crippin Funeral Home was in charge.

Born in 1886

John son of Lawrence and Emma Bullard, was born in Wayne county October 5th, 1886. He grew to manhood and spent his life in the vicinity of his birth.

Several years ago he professed faith in Christ and was baptized by Rev. Clifton.

He was married to Martha Malone, February 4th, 1908, with three children born to this union. A daughter, Wanda, died at the age of three years.

Surviving are his wife: two sons, Lowell and Leonard, four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four brothers, Harve, Ed, Fred and Virgil Bullard, three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Brown, Rhoda, wife of Justin Bunnell, and Mrs. Irene Leach.
