Martha Bullard, 92, a former Cisne woman who has lived in Fairfield’s High Rise apartments the last five years, died at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday in Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon.

She was the widow of John Bullard.  Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne with burial in the Bailey Cemetery, Wayne County, Illinois.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday.

Mrs. Bullard was born in Wayne County December 12, 1884, the daughter of James and Lizzie (Withrow) Malone.  She was married to John Bullard in Wayne County in 1908.  He preceded her in death. She was a housewife and a member of the Rock Branch General Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Leonard, of Wayne City; and Lowell, of Cisne; four grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.   Preceding her in death were one daughter, Wanda; five brothers and five sisters,and her parents.
