Gene Lane, 49 of Carpentersville, IL. a former Wayne City man
died Friday morning unexpectedly in Grove City, Pa. Mr.
Lane, a truck driver stopped in that town when he suffered a fatal heart
attack.
SEVICES HELD Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday (today) at Richardson Chapel in Wayne City with Bro. Oakley Miller and Vernard ILE officiating. Burial was at the Olive Branch Cemetery south of Wayne City. |
Mr. Lane was born in Wayne county on December 19 1930, the son of Clarence and Hazel (Smith) Lane.
He was reared around Wayne City. He was married to a Wayne City girl, Audrey Forth, who survives. They have lived a number of years in Carpentersville.
Surviving
Surviving are his widow; two sons Randall Lee, of Dundee, IL; Jerald Eugene, at home and Laurie Ann at home; one grandchild, Nichole and his parents.
