SCOTT HOSSELTON,
RETIRED RAILROADER,
DIES AT 80

Retired railroad employee and farmer, Scott Hosselton, 80 of Rt 2, Clay City, died at 7:15 p.m. Friday, October 26, 1984, at Richland Memorial Hospital at Olney. Mr. Hosselton was the great-uncle of John Hosselton, funeral home director at Cisne and father of Leon Hosselton a Wayne County board member.

RITES CONDUCTED

Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Hosselton Funeral Home, Cisne, with Bro. Don Lusk officiating. Burial was in Zif Cemetery.

Mr. Hosselton was born in Wayne County, February 4, 1904, the son of Luther E. and Lillie (Hubble) Hosselton. He was first married to Bertha Lane, who preceded him in death.  Mr. Hosselton later married the former Agnes Hubble in Henderson, KY

in 1939. Mr. Hosselton was a retired agent operator for IC Railroad and a retired farmer. He was a member of Zif Missionary Baptist Church.

THE SURVIVORS

Survivors include his wife, Agnes Hosselton, of Clay City; one daughter, Mrs. Goodin, of Troy; a son, Leon Hosselton of Clay City; and three grandchildren. Preceding him death were a son and two brothers. Zif, Wayne County, Illinois.
