GILL HOSSELTON,
CLAY CITY, DIES;

WAS RETIRED FARMER-CARPENTER

Gill Hosselton, 81, of Rt 2, Clay City, died at 5:40 a.m. Monday, March 12, 2001 at Burgin Manor Nursing Home in Olney. He was a retired carpenter and farmer. Mr. Hosselton was the father of John Hosselton, Cisne funeral home director.

RITES CONDUCTED

Funeral rites were conducted Thursday morning (today) from the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne, with burial at Zif Cemetery at Clay City. There were military tires at the cemetery. Visitation was held Wednesday evening at Hosselton  Funeral Home.

He was born at Clay City March 28, the son of Willima Seth and Dorothy Moseley Hosselton. On January 7, 1942, he was married to Helen R.Henry.

Mr. Hosselton was a member of Zif Missionary Baptist Church. He served in Guam in WW11 in the US Navy. His parents, three brothers and one granddaughter preceded  him in death.

THE SURVIVORS

Surviving are his wife; four sons, Ronald (Agnes) Hosselton of Clay City, John (Darlene) Hosselton of Cisne, Bruce (Jane) Hosselton of Robinson and Douglas (Karen) Hosselton of Olney, one sister, Clarabelle Davis of Morton, two brothers, Russell Hosselton of Flora, eight grandchildren and three g-grandchildren.  (great-grandson of Samuel and Margaret Jane Sharp Hosselton.
