PASSES AWAY WHILE
VISITING AT HOME
OF DAUGHTER HERE

Mrs. Melvina Brown, 80, of Bluford, Ill., who had been visiting at the home of her daughter, Mrs Otto Knowles, for several weeks, passed away at 7:30 o'clock, Monday evening. Mrs. Brown had been a sufferer from heart  trouble for a number of years.

Besides Mrs. Knowles, the decent is survived by five other daughtersand three sons. The husband preceeded her in death in 1929.

The body was removed to Melvin funeral home, from where it was taken overland today to Bluford for funeral services and burial in the Hickory Hill cemetary at that place.

Keen & Co. undertakers, were called to Sterling, Ill., to receive the body of Mrs. John Brown who died at her daughter's at that place. The body was prepared for burial and the funeral was had at the U.B. church Wednesday at 2:30. Internment followed in East Hickory Hill ementary.
