Clarence "Bounce" Henson, 69, Chicago, died at 8:45 p.m. May 20, 1987, at the Hines Veterans Administration Hospital in Chicago.

Mr. Henson was born Sept. 22, 1917, in Wayne County, the son of Lorene and Rhoda (Ray) Henson.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City with the Rev. Rick Ozee officiating.  Burial will follow in Pin Oak Cemetery.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include his stepmother, Dorothy Reed of Fairfield; five sons, Gary Henson, of Indianapolis, Jerry Henson of Water Tower, N.Y., Dean Henson of Indianapolis, Raymond Henson of Hinsdale and Sherman Henson of Willow Springs; two stepsons, Larry McNail of Willow Springs, John McNail of Hinsdale; three stepdaughters, Linda Vanek, Dollie Horner and Judy Jones, all of Willow Springs; two brothers, Homer Henson of Sims and Lieuna Henson of Florida; and 13 grandchildren.

Mr Henson served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
