Surnames: BALTZER-BALZER, FUNK, HAMILTON, KLINE, SCHUBTER
Would like to contact researchers of the KLINE surname. I need the names of the parents of William KLINE, b. 25 Apr 1797 in PA. He lived in PA; Washington Co., MD; Ogle Co., IL; and in Jasper Co., IA. Tombstone states he d. on 30 Jul 1883 at the age of 86 years and three months. He married Mary Magdelene BALTZER, b. Feb 1800, dau. of Anthony BALTZER (spelled BALZER on his Rev. War Pension) and Elizabeth FUNK. The date of his marriage is not known nor is the place. In the will of his brother, Peter KLINE, executed 8 Jun 1872, his sisters are listed as Betsy and Peggy and another brother, John, is mentioned. The Commissioner of Pensions on Form 199A from the Treasury Department on 12 Jan 1893 lists the children of Anthony and Elizabeth BALZER as Mary KLINE, Lydia HAMILTON and Amelia SCHUBTER. William and Mary KLINE had four children b. in PA: Catherine Ann Elizabeth in 1819; Anthony Artoine' on 8 May 1820; Lydia in 1822; and Henry in 1828. About 1840, the family with exception of Anthony Artoine' moved to IL residing in Ogle Co. near the town of Byron. Most of the family then moved to Jasper Co., IA about 1856. I have the names of the spouses of these children of William and Mary KLINE but need more info. on William's parents and also the parents and siblings of Mary Magdelene BALZER.
