This is a postcard, with some writing on the back, addressed to my great-grandmother, Mrs. Frances Cannon, Golden Gate.  Written by a Mrs. Rice, it starts "Hello sister Francis".  It was sent from Allendale, IL, but I believe Mrs. Rice was probably born in Wayne County.
