JAMES McDANIEL
James McDaniel, 75, of LaMard township, was born in Franklin county, Pa., in 1812; removed at 7 years of age to Stark county, Ohio; removed from there Wayne county in 1839; boted for Harrison in Fairfield in 1840; was one of zhe first men in Wayne county to join the Republican party. He has been a successful farmer, and is the father of 12 children, all of whom have been raisef Wayne county. He uses tobacco, hut is temperate and opposed to the liquor traffic.
