A Fairfield couple. Mr. and Mrs, Harold Young, will observe their 40th wedding anniversary on Christmas Day, December 25.

Mr. Young, son of the late Mr. and Mrs, Jesse Young, was married to Maxine Noles in the First Christian Church by Rev, Kent Dale. Maxine is the daughter of the late Dolly Noles .

The Youngs are retired and reside at 516 S. E. 3rd Street. Mr. Young was formerly employed by the Park District in LaGrange.

A surprise anniversary party for the Youngs was held Saturday night. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Gould hosted a Pasta party for them at their home. Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Owen Ewing, Mr. and Mrs. Don Dawson and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Book.

Kenneth and Maxine had lunch at Bat s Place Saturday noon with Mr. and Mrs. Dan Young and children. Kenny and Kelly and Mr. and Mrs. Terry Stevenson and Lezlie.
