Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Spitzner will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Jan. 2. Open house will be held in the Flora Savings & Loan on West 2nd Avenue between the hours of 2 and 4 p.m.

Clarence Spitzner and the former Mary Hale were married Dec. 29, 1932 at Cisne.

The Spitzners, life long residents of Wayne county, are parents of seven children: Mrs. Bill (Joan) Pearce and Mrs. Rex (Betty) Brown, Charles, Melvin, Bill, John and Mike

Mr. and Mrs. Spitzner have 22 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

The couple request the presence and good wishes of their friends and relatives.
