Mr. and Mrs. W. Burl Grubb, Sr. of Decatur, formerly of Fairfield,celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Saturday, April 16.  Their family hosted an open house for them at the Woodland Chapel Church in Decatur.

Mr. Grubb and Beulah Ellis, were married April 16, 1933. Both were born and reared in Wayne County and for several years worked for Sexton Mfg. Co.

They are the parents of one son.  They have two grandchildren.
