To celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of Marshall and Zelma Brown, their children and grandchildren are hosting a reception Sunday, Aug. 8, at Fairway Apartments community room on West Delaware St.   All friends and relatives are invited to the reception to be held between the hours of one to five o'clock. The couple request that gifts be omitted.

Mr. and Mrs. Brown reside at Fairway Apartments in Fairfield. Mr. Brown, now retired, worked for Texaco Company for 30 years. He is the son of the late Granville and Kate Shorb Brown, of Aden. Mrs. Brown is the daughter of the late Roy Thomason and Ruth Thomason Waller of Wayne City.

The couple married August 9, 1932, at the home of Hulbert Perry at Garrison. They are parents of two sons and two daughters...  They have 17 grandchildren  and 11 great-grandchildren.
