A surprise reception in honor of the 25th wedding anniversary of Carroll and Doris Courtright was held Sunday afternoon, Feb. 21, in the Wayne County Bank community room.    The reception for the rural Fairfield couple was hosted by their children, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Courtright; Jeff, Randy and Kim Courtright.

The room was decorated in blue and white - the color scheme used in their wedding 25 years ago. On the reception table a silver service was used for the coffee and punch. The centerpiece was a two tiered wedding cake baked and decorated by Mrs. Becky Weaver.    The hostesses, Kim and Teresa Courtright, were assisted by Tracy Dinsmore and by Anna Lou Taylor and Janet Lang who prepared the punch.
