Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dixon, a well-known Fairfield couple, will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary Saturday.
Mr. Dixon is a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Dixon, of Rogers, Ark. His wife, the former Velma Anderson, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Anderson, was born and reared in Texas, but moved with her parents to Rogerswhere she became acquainted with the Dixon family.
The couple has no children, but reared Mrs. Dixon's nephew from the age of 1 1/2, when his mother was killed in an auto accident.
