Mr. and Mrs. Chaney G. McKay of  (ddress removed) Lancaster,, IL will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on July 4, 1996.

Chaney and Lois (Chalcraft) McKay were married July 4, 1936 outside the church north of Golden Gate under three big oak trees.

The couple has four children: Jerry and Betty (Rau) McKay, Kenneth and Connie (Bratton) McKay, Linda McKay, and Charles and Patty (McKay) Pierce.  They have eight grandchildren: Jody and Chuck Hillyard, Tammy Griggs, Jerry and April McKay, Kristi and John Berry, Elaine and Travis Sharp, Michelle and Frank Moyes, Brian and Dianna Pierce, and Carter Pierce. Six great-grandchildren: Kira Hillyard, Brandon Griggs, Tristan McKay, Cole Berry, and Amanda and Shelby Pierce.

No formal gathering is planned, however, the couple would welcome cards and letters from family and friends.
