Loren and Willene (Hale) Shaw will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on May 4.

They were married in Fairfield and have resided the past 25 years in Anaheim,California.

Loren owned and operated Shaw's Carpet & Upholstery Cleaners until his retirement at which time his son, Joe, took over the family business. Willene spent 21 years with Astech Corporation in Irvine, Calif. They have a son, Joseph Allen Shaw, of Anaheim, Calif.; a daughter Carol Stephenson of Mission Viejo,Calif.; 10 grandchildren.

A celebration in their honor, given by their children, will be held onSaturday, May 4, in Anaheim.
