Dianna Williams, the former County Coordinator for Wayne County, had to move the website several times. Once again, I have had to move the website to a new server (this one is my own), due to Rootsweb no longer offering free website space and the former State Coordinator no long offering free website space. I pay for my server so there is no cost to IlGenWeb or USGenWeb.

Why another (and last!) move?

Several years ago the ILGenWeb Project moved to its private server.  Over the years, several counties have exceeded the limit of its disk space.  Wayne County was one of them.  In order to grow more and store all the files submitted in the past and now future, the best solution was to move to its own server.

Now with plenty of room, I am working on finding all the missing files to display each again.  If you submitted supmething and it is not here, please contact me and I will upload it again.

In the meantime, Wayne needs your help! It needs you to submit items to help it grow stronger,  to help other researchers, and help me.
