(Doris Bland's cemetery book X says January 27, 1862, but every
page in this file says 1863.)
Thomas M. Hill married Susan Cumings on November 6, 1856, in Wayne Co by G. B. Galbraith, JP. (She can sign her name)

Charles H. Hill born August 21, 1857
Edgar H. Hill born March 21, 1862. Edgar died August 22, 1866.
Mother Susan died March 27, 1864, of consumption at the home
of John G. Hill.
(Jerilyn's Notes - Thomas was born in Tennessee in April 2, 1834,
according to family records, although cemetery says different. His
wife was born abt July 16, 1837. I can't find this family in 1860
census, but I have several families missing in this census so either the
pages were lost or the census taker didn't go down that road.)
