Misty Flannigan - 1958-2004

Misty Created the Jefferson County ILGen Web Site and she did a terrific job. She devoted many hours to provide useful, informative information to anyone researching in Jefferson County.

I know that she helped many people and the information that she has provided will continue to help everyone.

Most important of all was Misty's family she was a dedicated Mother to five Children, they were her Pride and Joy. She was so very proud of her children.

She will be missed

Jim Branch

Husband of Lois Branch, best friend, and a Wayne Co., IL researcher

Jim was a Wayne Co., IL researcher and related to many lines in Wayne, Clay, Marion, and more counties.

He loved the earth, from under the ground to above the sky with everything - everyone in-between. He was always positive, smiling, and happy. When someone met a wall, he was there to help them walk through it.

Family members are proud and honored to say, "I was related to him!"

Friends say with respect and love, "He was a perfect role model" and some said, "He was a Guardian Angel on this side".

Jim and Lois, were more than husband and wife. They were best friends and each other's soul mate.

Lois is still with us on this side and Jim is with us in our heart and thoughts as the Lord needed Jim to serve on the other side.

His voice and laughs will be missed but never be forgotten, cause he will always be in our heart and thoughts.

  Michael S. Gregory, Sr. - 1937-2001
Jefferson, Hamilton & Wayne Co., IL researcher

Mike contributed a lot to the Jefferson Co webpage including the extraction of the civil war records.

He was also a member of the ILWayne County mailing list and had a handful of information about the families around the Wayne City area and was always there to help people with their research.

He will be missed but not forgotten
