Years ago I came across this book and found a few marriages of my own lines. I was so excited that I contacted Albert and our friendship began. Over the years I moved a lot and lost touch with many people, Albert was one of them. Recently, I was on 'Harry's Edition' web site and saw the book. Of course, I had to contacted Albert! Though, this time I was too late, as he had crossed.
However, I spoke with his wife and we had a great time talking. Great things came out of all of this. One is I found another marriage in his book (not at the court house) and I got her permission to display this book on this site.
Then I contacted Mrs. Evans, the great granddaughter of Elder Brown. She also gave me permission to display this book on this Wayne Co., ILGen Web site.
Now you have the book on line and I have 2 new great friends!
