7e) William Garrison was born abt 1827, Hamilton Co., IL. William married Mary Ann Mayberry/Maberry during 1843 in Wayne Co., IL. She was born 1826, remarried 1865 and died before 1880.
I have found 3 different death dates for him in 2 different 'Garrison Books' and, different date on a settlement of his estate, 1864, in Wayne Co., IL. William was involved in a shooting and disappeared, leaving a wife and 3 children. Some say Mary Ann (his wife) divorced him and he remarried i another state. I did find Mary Ann started a divorce 1862 and I found papers that stated the 3 chilren were sole heirs, were being sued for money William owned, and the divorced was stopped due to his 'death', all in 1864, Wayne Co., IL.
