William M. LEATHERS, son of *Nelson L and *Eliza Jane (MONTGAL)  LEATHERS, was born   6 Dec 1848,  Wayne Co, IL,  died  1 Jan 1916, Orchardville, Wayne Co, IL, and is buried at  Jacob's Chapel Cem.

William married 2 times, the first time was about 1868, Wayne Co., IL to  Sarah Jane McCORMICK (also spelled  McCORMACK,  or McCOMMACK).  Sarah Jane was the dau of  Chesley McCORMICK  and  Susannah MELTON.

His 2nd marriage was  23 Oct 1880  Wayne Co, IL. to  Emmaline McCORMICK, dau of Chesley "Leifer" McCORMICK  and  Emmaline was  a sister of  Sarah Jane (his first wife).

Sarah Jane was born  31 Jan 1851, Wayne Co, IL,  died before Oct. 1880,  Wayne Co, IL, and her place of burial is not known.
