WILLIAM FITCH  born 1783 in Tennessee.  His three sons, William, John and Joseph moved to Wayne Co, Elm River Township near Mt. Erie approximately 1812.  They arrived on a wagon train.  Olny one settler was there when the arrived.  The first William Fitch  married a Nancy Baxter.  They are currently buried in the Fitch cemetary.
