Isabelle SIMMS was born 04 Mar 1861 near Covington, Wayne Co., IL and died 25 Feb 1944 of Breast Cancer in Fairfield, Wayne Co., IL. She was the daughter of William and Mary (SIMMS) SIMMS. Granddaughter of John and Elizabeth SIMMS; William and Ann (SEARS) SIMMS.
Isabelle's parents were first cousins. John and William SIMMS were brothers.
Her siblings were: Frances (SIMMS) WALKER 1841-1902; Sarah SIMMS 1843-1845; John SIMMS 1845-1911; Henry SIMMS 1849-1918; Susannah (SIMMS) HUMPHREY 1852-1892; Edward SIMMS, 1853-1927; Richard SIMMS 1855-1857; George SIMMS 1856-1911; Thomas SIMMS, 1859-1876.
In 1880 she married Posey OVERALL in Wayne Co., IL. He was born Aug 1859 in Spencer Co., IN, and died Sep 1887 in Wayne Co., IL. He was the son of John and Sarah OVERALL and Grandson of Posey and Elizabeth (HOUSE) OVERALL..
To this union was born the following children:
1) Lillian OVERALL, b. 02 Oct 1881, Wayne Co., IL; d. Nov 1974, Fairfield, Wayne Co., IL. She married Thomas WOOD and Francis FLANDERS.
2) Bessie Rosalie OVERALL, b. 17 Aug 1883, IL; d. 09 Nov 1959, Lincoln, Logan Co., IL. She married Charles SAMPSON.
3) Ada OVERALL, b. Oct 1885. She married Charles HEFLIN.
4) Pearl OVERALL, b. Dec 1887, IL. She married Roy BARINGER.
On 29 Nov 1896 she married Levi HUMPHREY in Wayne Co., IL. He was born Nov 1845 in MI, and died 01 Feb 1920 in Wayne Co., IL. He was the son of Issac and Elizabeth (SIMMS) HUMPHREY. Levi was the widow of Susannah SIMMS, who was Isabelle's sister. To this union was born the following son:
1) Leo Franklin HUMPHREY, b. 27 Aug 1897, Wayne Co., IL; d. Infancy
