Mrs. Lulu I. Geoffroy
Mrs. Lulu I. Geoffroy, 91,
4209 Emland Drive, died Friday [23 March] at a Topeka hospital after an
extended illness.
She was born Oct. 25, 1887, at Fairfield, Wayne County, Illinois.
Mrs. Geoffroy attended Jenning's [sic] Seminary, Aurora, Ill. She was a
long-time resident of Topeka.
She was a member of the Lowman United Methodist Church and Chapter AJ
of P.E.O.
She was married to Frank Geoffroy in
1906 at Beatrice, Neb. He died Oct. 14, 1946. A son, Robert G. Geoffroy, Vicksburg,
Miss., died in March 1977.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs.
Marge Parker, of the home; two sons, Jack M. Geoffroy, Seattle, Wash.,
and Glenn G. Geoffroy, San
Luis Obispo, Calif.; five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday [27 March] at Penwell-Gabel Funeral
Home, Topeka. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Topeka. Memorial

Topeka, 66606.
