Marjorie O. Book, 73, 700 Main St., died at 6 p.m. Friday at Good Samaritan Hospital.  She was a retired bookeeper.
 
Mrs. Book was born Aug. 30, 1909, in Wayne County, the daughter of George J. and Martha (Wise) Book.
 
She was a graduate of Lockyear Business College and was employed by the Fairfield law firm of Creighton & Thomas before moving to Mt.  Vernon in 1945.
 
She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Mary Beisinger, Fairfield, Mrs. Alice Sork, Middletown, Ind., and Mrs. Ethel Lasater, Phoenix, Ariz.; and one brother, I. B. Book Fairfield.
 
Her body will be cremated, and memorial services will be conducted at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of Nail Funeral Home, Fairfield.
 
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
