Taylorville - Leslie Miller, 80, of Taylorville died Saturday, July 3, 1999, at St. Vincent Memorial Hospital.

He was born March 3, 1919, in Mabton, Wash., the son of Andrew and Pearl Richards Miller. He married Betty L. Spillman in 1949 in Fairfield. A son, Leslie Miller, preceded him in death.

Mr. Miller retired as a machinist with Borg Warner. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in World War II from 1941-45.

Survivors: wife, Betty L.; three sons, Dwight (wife, Michelle) Miller of Taylorville, Gary L. (wife, Rena) and Oma Andrew Miller, both of Langleyville; three daughters, Penny (husband, Greg) Presnell of Bitbarg, Germany, Mary Ann (husband, Tim) Reiser of Springfield and Linda Scott of Hoppeston; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Amos Miller of Steward; and a sister, Eunice Atkinson of Rochelle.

Services: 2 pm Wednesday, Shafer Funeral Home, Taylorville, the Rev. Michael Branch officiating.

Burial: Grove City Cemetery.
