Margaret Jines of McLeansboro Dies at Age 72

Mrs. Margaret Alice Jines, 72, died Tuesday morning at her home, 204 Marshall Avenue in McLeansboro.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Rudolph Schlagg officiating.  Burial will be in Hickory Hill cemetery at Bluford.

The body will lie in state at the Gholson Funeral Home where friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Friday.

Mrs. Jines was born Dec. 23, 1880, in Wayne county, the daughter of Brown and Mary Parkinson.

She was married to Luther Jines, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by a step-son, Clyde Jines of Dahlgren; Roy Parkinson, who was reared from infancy in the Jines home; and a sister, Mrs. Inez Malone of Sims.

Mrs. Jines was a member of the Christian church of Wayne City and the Royal Neighbors of America Lodge.
