Mrs. Ruth Rosenburg, 81, of Wayne City, died at 9:40 p.m. yesterday at Hamilton Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Rosenburg was born in Jefferson county on February 11, 1891, the daughter of Humes and Effie (Bennett) Reed.

She was preceded in death in 1970 by her husband, G.R. Rosenburg.

She was a member of the Wayne City Christian church, where funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Ron Mullens officiating.  Burial will be in Thomason cemetery.

Friends may call at the Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City after 5:30 p.m. today.

Mrs. Rosenburg is survived by two sons, Owen Rosenburg, O'Fallon, and Robert Rosenburg, Wayne City; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Ellen Clark, Wayne City, and Bertie Rosenburg, Wayne City; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two sisters, Mrs. Norma Swem, Mt. Vernon, and Mrs. Alta Purvis, Creston.
