J.B. TRAGO DIES
OUT IN COLORADO

 J. Berkley Trago, died at his home in Wheatridge, Colo., on January 4th.  He leaves his widow, and a daughter, Mrs. J. W. Garrett of Fulton, Mo.

A Colorado paper printed the following sketch of him:
"J. Berkley Trago was born Jan 16, 1852 in Monroe county, Ohio.  He moved to southern Illinois with his family while he was yet a small boy.

In 1876 he came to Colorado but remained only a short time.  December 23, 1876, he was married to Mary Elizabeth Rudesill.  In 1900 he moved to Wheatridge.  Into this home, one daughter was born, who survives both her parents.  She is Mrs. J. W. Garrett of Fulton, Mo.  The mother passed away from earthly residence in 1921.

In October 1923, Mr. Trago married Miss Lulu Heintzelman, of Nora Springs, Iowa.

Mr. Trago is survived by his daughter and two grandsons, W. Trago Garrett, who teaches in the normal school at Maryville, Mo., and Bert E. Garrett, who teaches in the high school at Fulton, Mo.; two great grandchildren, Mary and Billy Garrett; and by his wife Mrs. Lulu Trago.

As a young man, the deceased accepted Jesus Christ and was baptized into the Christian church.  He transferred membership to the Wheatridge  church in 1900 when he came to this community.  His record of loyalty to his church and his Christ, stands unsurpassed.

In the community where he dwelt, he was known as a kindly neighbor and a  loyal friend to all, but especially to the children who knew him and loved him well."
