Bethune - Leslie Earl Dickey, 61, died Saturday at Kershaw County Hospital.

He and his family had moved here from Cherryville, N.C. Friday.   He recently retired as production manager of a sweater manufacturing company.

He was born in Fairfield, Ill., son of the late Harry Edward Dickey and Bess Bethel Dickey.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Agnes Malone Dickey, one son, Donald Leslie Dickey of Charlotte, and daughter Mrs. Gilbert Mays of Bethune; four brothers, H.R. of Thomasville, N.C., H.E. of Cherryville, N.C.,  Newton of Ore., and W. I. of DeKalb, Ill; eight sisters, Mrs. Jesse Crews and Mrs. Arthur McNew of Fairfield, Ill., Mrs. Ronald Wilson of Coolidge, Ariz., Mrs. R.H. Stoddard of Douglas, Wyo., Mrs. Ralph Miller, Peoria, Ill., Mrs.Alice Loomis of Waynesville, Ind., Mrs. Robert Ray, of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. William  Donhauser of Traverse City, Mich.

Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Monday in Bethune Methodist Church with burial in Bethel Cemetery.
