Mrs. Clara Belle Lloyd, daughter of Mr. J. M, and Mary E. Day, born November 17th, 1887, near Fairfield. Ill., passed away at Piqua, Ohio, August 22nd, 1930. aged forty-two years.

In 1905 she was united in marriage to Mr. Frank B. Lloyd and to this union was born four children, one of whom, John Elmo passed away in infancy.

In early childhood Mrs. Lloyd became a Christian, and united with Ellen Moore M. E. Church of Fairfield. Ill., to which she remained a member until she moved to Ohio.  At this time she became a member of the Grace M. E. Church to which, she gave much of her time and energy.

She was well known in business circles through her connection with prominent firms, being exceedingly proficient in her work.

The deceased leaves to mourn her departure her mother, Mrs, Mary E. Day, three children, Mrs. Emerson Arnold of Dagtoo, OH., Miss Elfreda Lloyd and Mr. Omar Lloyd, both of Piqua, two grandchildren, Robert Lloyd Arnold and Carman Joan Arnold of Dayton, one brother, Mr. J. H. Day of Memphis. Tenn., one sister, Mrs. V. B. Albrecht of Dayton, three half-sisters, Mrs. Allen Currie and Mrs. James Hooper, both of California. and Mrs. Ida Reed of Illinois.
