MRS. JOHN WAGNER
Ivy Martha Day, daughter of John D. C. and Augusts Day, was born at Junction City, Trinity County, Califomia, Nov. 24th, 1881. Departed this life Jan. 3, 1912, age 30 years, 1 month, 9 days. She was married to John D. Wagner Nov. 17th, 1901. To this union were born four children, two boys, John Orion and Rolland David; two daughters Mary Elizabeth and Cynthia May, all surviving her. Besides her four children she leaves a father and mother, six brothers and seven sisters, besides a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her loss. Her husband and one brother having preceded her to the other choice. She professed faith in Christ and joined Union C. P. church at a meeting held by Rev. Joe Wood and sister Merritt in the year 1912 living a faithful consistent Christian life until she was called to her reward above. She was a faithful and loving wife and mother, a true friend and excellent neighbor. To know her was to love her. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Wagaman at Union C. P. church Jan. the 5th and the remains laid to rest in the cemetery near by.
