JOHN D. WAGNER
son of John L. and Sarah Wagner, was born June 13th 1871, died suddenly Nov. 22nd, 1911, age 40 years, 5 months and 9 days. The deceased was baptized by the Rev. Wiley Hooper in infancy and professed faith in Christ at a meeting held by the Rev. J. W. Borah, Feb. 2nd, A. D. 1894 and united with Union C. P, church of which he remained a faithful member till God called him to his reward. The deceased was united in marriage to Ivey Day, Nov. 17th, 1901. To this union were born four children-two boys and two girls, all surviving him. He leaves, beside his immediate family, a father, mother, the brothers and two sisters, one sister having preceded him to the better land; besides he leaves a host of relatives and friends to mourn his loss The deceased was a kind and loving husband and father, a good neighbor and citizen and loved and respected by all who knew him. Funeral conducted by J. W. Borah. The burial was at Union cemetery Thursday.
