Charlie Hiser Day son of Mr. and .Mrs. J. M. Day was born  April  11, 1897.  Died April 17, l901,  age  4 years and 6 days.

Charlie was a bright little fellow, it seemed as though he were only blooming for death.

Before he took sick,  just five weeks before he passed away, he looked so strong and healthy, but pneumonia and whooping cough fastened their hold upon him and claimed him for his own.

Funeral services were conducted at the residence in Fairfield after which the remains were laid away in the Union Cemetery.

It is hard to give up the little fellow but we know he rests well in the Father’s care and his suffering  is o'er.
