Mrs. Gladys Tierney, 92, died Tuesday evening, Mar. 7, 1995, at Meadowood Nursing Home in Grayville.  Mrs. Tierney had lived here the past year with a niece, Mr. and Mrs. David Potts.  She entered the nursing home Feb. 13.

Mrs. Tierney, who lived in St. Louis a number of years, was a housewife.

She was born in Wayne County Dec. 8, 1902, the daughter of William L. and Matilda Walker White.  She was married to John L. Tierney, who preceded her in death Mar. 26, 1980.  Also preceding her in death were her parents, three sisters and two brothers.  The Tierneys had no children.  She was a memberof the Chapel Hill Christian Church at St. Clair, Ill.
