DIED IN CALIFORNIA
J. Casey Wilson, who has been a sufferer for many months with cancer of the stomach, died at Los Angeles, California last Tuesday. The body was shipped home, arriving over the Southern at noon sunday. The remains were accompanied by Mr. Wilson's sister, Mrs. Jennie Wilson-Hindman, of Los Angeles.
John Casey Wilson, son of James S. and Caroline Wilson was born May 31st, 1877 on a farm near Fairfield, Illinois on or near which he spent all but the last two years of his life.
He was a member of the Modern Woodmen and Masonic order and became a member of Union Church in 1915.
He leaves three sisters and two brothers, Mrs. F. B. Hindman and Mrs. J. T. Bullock of San Diego, California and Mrs. J. E. Huber of Aurora, Illinois, Shields A. Wilson, of Fairfield, Illinois and Rev. G. A. Wilson of Tallula, Illinois.
Casey Wilson remained with his parents until the death of his father in 1909 after which the he devoted his life to the care of his mother until her death in Januaary 1927.
Shortly after her death he went to California where he became ill with a malady from which he was unable to recover and passed away in the home of his sister Mrs. F. B. Hindman on July 2nd, 1929.
Funeral by Rev. J. W. Borah at Union C. P. church assisted by the Masons.
