Death of Dr. E. B. Roberts
Dr. E. B. Roberts, who had been a practising physician at Mt. Erie for the past thirty-five years, died at home there early Monday afternoon, of heart disease. He was ill only a short time, taking sick last Saturday.
The funeral occurred at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon at McKendrie church, near Mt. Erie. It was conducted by Rev. William Huntsberry and was largely attended. Interment in cemetery near church.
Deceased left a widow and seven children to mourn their loss. He was held in high esteem by a large number of friends who sympathize with the family in their bereavement. Deceased was a few weeks less than sixty three years of age. ______
Among those who attended the funeral of Dr. E. B. Roberts Tuesday afternoon were: J. R. Crews, O. P. Patterson, T. H. Creighton, T. C. McMackin, Mrs. James McNeely, Mrs. Ella Lane, Judge J. R. Holt, Dr. W. C. Sibley, Dr. H. H. Moore and C. E. Rinard.
