Mrs. Sadie J. Shelton, 86, who lived south of the Brown Church between Cisne and Mt. Erie, died at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Olney Hospital. She has been in declining health with a lingering illness.

Services Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne, with Bro. Les Boldt officiating. Burial will be in the Scott Cemetery near Mt. Erie. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday.

Mrs. Shelton was born in Tennessee Oct. 29, 1892, the daughter of John and Laura (Shuster) Jones. She was married in Wayne County in 1923 to Ray Shelton. He preceded her in death in 1938.

Mrs. Shelton was a housewife.

Surviving are one foster son, Ralph Melton, of Geff; and two brothers, Jim Jones and Robert Jones, both of Geff.

Preceding her in death were her husband; one brother, Alfred; and her parents.
