Mrs. Catherine L. Barnard, who lived about six miles north of Wayne City, died this morning. She was the widow of Sylvester Barnard.

Mrs. Barnard was 70 years old.

The family is one of the most highly respected in Wayne county.

The funeral services and burial will be had tomorrow at Bailey church and cemetery in Wayne county.
