El Paso – Earl Hepperly, 60, died at a Peoria hospital Wednesday following a long illness. The body was brought to the Otto-Vincent memorial home here and will be taken to the home of his son, Lawrence, near Chenoa, at 1:00 p.m. Saturday. Funeral services will be held there at 1:45 p.m. Sunday and from the Chenoa Methodist church at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in Chenoa cemetery.
He was born near Chenoa Aug. 11, 1883, the son of John and Clara Small Hepperly. He married Miss Mae Thrane who died Oct. 16, 1918. Jan. 19, 1921, he married Mrs. Celia Hepperly of Chenoa. They had lived in El Paso a year and a half. He was a member of the Federated church. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Miss Marry, Chenoa; four sons, Lawrence, Chenoa; John in the army; Delmar, in the navy; and Virgil, at home; three step-children, Russell, Pontiac; Foster, in the marines, overseas; Mrs. Vista Barrett, Chenoa; three grandchildren
