Mrs. Bertha A. Hutson 66, died Thursday at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Percy Donnell after a year’s illness. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at the Raleigh J. Harris funeral home with the Rev. Harry Cochrane officiateing. Burial will be in Rooks Creek cemetery.

She was born Jan. 31, 1878, in Pontiac township, the daughter of John and Emma Cartwright Weist. She had lived all her life near here. She married John Thomas Hutson, Jan. 1, 1902, at Rooks Creek. He preceded her in death in 1940. Surviving are two children, John and Mrs. Buena Donnell and a brother E.E. Weist, all of Pontiac; four grandchildren. She was a member of the Methodist church.
