Louisa Louellen Runion, daughter of Elias and Margaret Walters wasborn January 15, 1870 in Elm River Township, Wayne County, Illinois, where she lived her entire life.

She passed away at her home May 12, 1945 in Elm River Township. She was united in marriage with Allen Runion March the 20th, 1893.  To this union four children were born.Samuel at home, Guy whose address unknown, Mrs. Ruby Smith of Fairfield and Mrs. Rosa Shackleford of Cisne. She was the youngest of a family of eleven children, she being the last of the family.

At the age of 23 years she was converted and united with the Missionary Baptist Church at Enterprise.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her children, four grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Her husband passed away January 28, 1938.

Funeral service was conducted at the Brown C.P. Church May 13,  1945 at 2:30 P.M. by Rev. Roy Collins. Interment in the cemetery nearby.
