CHENOA – Lyle E. Phillips, 56, of Beardstown, father of Mrs. Linda Barnard, Chenoa, died at the eardstown Hospital. He had been in ill health for some time.

His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Cline Funeral Home, Beardstown, with burial in the city cemetery.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.
