Jerry Brinker who suffered a stoke [sic] of paralysis Christmas eve died Saturday mornin [sic].  The funeral was held at the M. E. church by Bro. Owen, Sunday afternoon and burial in the Scott cemetery.  His niece Mrs. Ella Karns of Lincoln came home Sunday morning and will stay until Thursday.
